Had a day of clearing shit out of the flat. We got rid of a LOT of stuff. Now I'm just in low power mode before the feast with my squad.

There's this delightful all you can eat place in town with Mexican, Indian, Thai, Chinese and carvery options. Naturally we descend like locusts there once a month or so and demand tribute Tongue

Gearing up for a busy day. If you see me around again today shoo me away. I'm having my Calhort group over for coffee in the garden, a tradition I've imported from what the San Diego Horticultural Society does monthly. A tough sell, because people are so hung up about perfect maintenance.

So on the one hand I don't want the place such a mess that people feel insulted but neither do I want to feed the idea that a garden must be prepared in a certain way to be shown. Screw that. Today I'm wiping down furniture and doing a final rake and sweep up. Debating whether to get p.u. a power washer for the pavers in the driveway. Always looks so good when I do.

Mum woke me up from the nap to tell me she'd sent me the monies for my new laptop, which I just ordered. THANK FSM. I will be able to get back to my regularly scheduled photography (and gaming) just in time for fall.

In other news, I got bit a handful of times on my left ass cheek by heinous, evil ants when I sat down on a rock out-cropping. At first, there were only welts. Now, said cheek is starting to hurt all over.

Dodgy

I can't wait for all the bugs here to die a violent ice-choked death during winter.
