Anyway, just reading about the vote.
Hopefully this will lead to the way to have a really really good president next time when everyone has learnt their lesson.

Pissing and moaning about the Republitards stealing the third election this century. The Deomcrats have two choices now, either start being the party of the people by challenging voter laws and illegal disenfranchisements, and explaining that left wing policies aren't bad for most Americans, or remain the second party of big business.
The first way lies either with resurgence or suppression (if the republicans are turning fascist), the second guarantees irrelevancy.

Up in the middle of the night trying to figure out how to explain this to my daughter after months of hearing what he actually said, and years ahead now.
I don't lie to my kid. There is no Santa, yes you're going to die someday....but this is impossible. She was so upset last night. It's my fault I suppose. I don't think I'll ever participate in another election. What's the point? The haters won, now they know they can. I don't even want to leave my house.
But seriously, what do I say to a 9 year old girl who was smart enough to to tell what a vile monster this man is, and I have to explain he's the president, and we should respect him? or what? I'm at a loss. I need time to process how many people were really ok with that level of lies and hatred.
