Just got home from visiting my cousin in the hospital. He's a motorcycle cop and was hit by a car in the line of duty. Concussion, broken shoulder blade, 8 broken ribs, collapsed lung, dislocated knee. He's doing well, signed his discharge papers today but is staying in the hospital one more night so a ramp can be built into his house so his wife can get him in and out on her own.

Also found out out of nowhere that his sister just had a liver biopsy for some reason and her kids have been staying with my aunt.

Also, had a doctor appointment today myself. Everything is still shrinking and my lymphnodes are presenting with normal features which is better than last time I was in. Firmed up my surgery date.

Not a great year for my family.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

Slightly anxiously waiting for KG to get home. She driving back from Seattle at night and the weather is not exactly ideal. She's a safe driver, it's the asshole drivers I get concerned about.

On other fronts, next week is a short week, my fundraiser is going quite well, and I dare say I'm happy despite some real difficult life and health challenges. It's the season for celebrating thankfulness, so there's that.
