Now taking care of HOA duties pre-meeting and watching Doubt, but I might change it because it's a depressing movie and I need comedy right now.

Trying to get enrolled in financial aid through my cancer center.  They never answer their phones.  I've left two messages and no one has called me back.  Actually got a hold of Registration today by calling someone whose number I had who transferred me, but they sent me to Billing who gave me an answering machine.

Grr...

My experience is that if any support desk/team has a "leave message and we'll call you back" service, they won't.

I re-watched Paul over the weekend.

EDIT: Every July they do another week long marathon for Doctors Without Borders. They're that charity's largest individual donator.

Reminds me of the first wave of totalitarian administrators we got at my school.  One of the first 'improvements' was a square drawn on a whiteboard.  This was the 'parking lot' where any questions/issues that came up among non-administrators during staff meetings could be left without interrupting the dictates of the leadership.  Sometimes they even scanned them.  I think the first time, some admin said something about a comment in such a way as to acknowledge it without actually allowing for any discussion.  After that it worked better.  Admins didn't have to check the 'parking lot' because we weren't wasting our time with it.

They really do. I donate during both GDQs (for both the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Doctors Without Borders). I've been a gamer since my grandmother bought the family a Commodore VIC-20 back in the early 80s, when I was 2-3 years old, so it's nice to see the gaming community come together and do something this meaningful every year, twice a year.
