Thanks, we'll see how it goes. The hospital management won't let her work until she can work without crutches. I don't know if they'll let her work with one of those knee scooter thingies.

Sounds about normal... the overwhelmed part not the bride on crutches part. Kudos for you for helping plan though most guys just dump it on the girl.

We're working on it as a team, I'm managing it and making sure we get everything done when it needs to be done. We make a good team.

Except today there are protests downtown against a police shooting last week. He has #resist in his profile so maybe we'll join the protesters. Could be an interesting first date...

Pretty busy for a vacation day: Got measured for custom support hose; had a hair touch-up; writer's group meeting; some blogging.

Back home after meeting with #resist guy. We didn't join the police brutality protests but I told him exactly what I think about religion and my political views. Thank goodness we're on the same page...

Binge watching M*A*S*H and resting my sore feet.

We made a huge amount of progress on the wedding plans. The rings should be here tomorrow, the cake is ordered, flower consult on Saturday, we likely have the dress selected and in hand (one more has yet to arrive - we're going to be returning quite a few things LOL). The reception location has been selected, I'll be calling then in the morning. The logistics and transportation is handled, and the rough wedding day plan is ready for the couple we are working with to organize on Sunday. There's quite a few loose ends to wrap up but none of them require the lead time everything else is.

I think we might actually pull this off.
