What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Did some drunk posting last night, so I'm making my rounds to assess the damages. So far so good. Still...

Got up at 5.30am this morning to help mum set up her 'Butterfly Cafe' at church which they hold in conjunction with a massive garage sale.
Once it was up and running, I walked around to see if there was anything worth buying and I spotted a 1.5m by .5m flat top, 4 burner, stainless steel BBQ.
It's the kind of thing a company might own to cook lunch for a hundred people at the annual picnic.
Anyway, I picked it up for $20.
Went to the hardware store and swapped my 10 yr old gas cylinder for a new one at just $17.
Took out the jets and dumped them in a bucket of weak acid.
Spent two hours cleaning the grill top with oven cleaner, soapy water.
Put the jets back in, heated it up and poured half a bottle of vinegar on it until it was as shiny as new.
So tonight I chucked some snags and onions on and had a sausage sizzle for dinner.
All the family came round.
Good day. :-)

Snag is definitely something different across the pond, but I'd still throw them on the barbie.

Waking up to see that hockey team accident in SK was rather massive.

Debating going to see Giselle today or tomorrow.

I haven't ridden my bicycle since the accident that wrecked by knee a year and a half ago. It's still unrepaired in the garage.

I think I'll fix it this morning and take a test ride.

Nothing too bad on this forum. Which is good. I like this place. If I'm going to post a bunch of blathering idiocy, I'd prefer it be somewhere else Tongue
