LOL, I just measured and the pilot holes I eyeballed are 16 1/8" apart, almost exactly the center to center distance between studs.

I tried to use a stud finder when I was mounting my TV to the wall today, but as soon as I turned it on it started bleeping out of control.

Put in a sheet of drywall, did some clarinet practice, did some blogging, made a batch of Chinese tea eggs from a recipe my daughter found. (Eggs currently in a pot in the fridge, soaking in a spice mix, and should be ready to try tomorrow evening.)
