Ever tried audio books to help kill the time while driving? I've found that they really help me, especially in rush hour, 5-MPH traffic.
Yes! I have “Audible” on my Android phone and iPad. I can listen to some of my Kindle books too. I studied for my Technicians Class Ham radio license by listening to related YouTube vids. I didn’t miss a single question
I'm more concerned about shower shoes. And soap on a rope.

Shower shoes are a must have item. I don’t rope soap but I have smoked rope.

Went to writer's group this evening. Doing a massive rewrite of a NaNoWriMo piece from 2006 (and removing a couple of dozen characters and three sub-subplots while I'm at it).
Currently drinking Green Chartreuse, neat.

I just want to know if the smoke from the BBQ gives him the shits in the truck while he's driving?

Cracked open a Sam Adams, while surfing the 'net. Bracing up for laying the first course of the new block wall out front, tomorrow. Five pallets containing blocks, concrete and mortar were delivered Monday. Back in the day, I'd load that shit up myself, but this came on a truck. I can no longer pick up a 94 pound sack of concrete mix and carry it wherever I want after my hand surgeries last year. I'm not a happy camper about that. Damn, my new bride only weighed 5 pounds more than that when we got married, and I had NO problem carrying her across the threshold.
I bought a new DeWalt scroll saw, which was delivered today. I had to drag it through the house and the garage, but managed to not hurt myself while lifting it onto the table saw for unpackaging. It's only 79 pounds without the packaging. Plus, it was fucking dropped before being put in the box for shipping. Or maybe during shipping. We'll see what the sellers have to say for themselves.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Ticking off the last couple of loose ends before the wedding. The rest of the details are in the hands of others.
I'm enjoying a rare moment watching Dirty Money on Netflix, sharing my recliner with an altogether too large 50lb Amstaff.

Ever heard of "Overdrive?" It's available from most public libraries and allows you to borrow MP3 audio books for up to three weeks. There are thousands of titles available, but the selection can be limited depending on the library. Best part is, it's absolutely free and available online wherever you have an internet connection. The books can even be downloaded and played on a stand alone MP3 player, or MP3 app for phones/tablets. Audible is great, especially for books that haven't been published in audio format by one of the major publishers (the InCryptid books by Seanan McGuire leap to mind) but it can get costly, especially if you read as voraciously as I do.
