Band practice this morning. Among other things, we played "Mack the Knife" and the theme from Animaniacs.
Took an epic nap of about three hours when I got home, then got up and got supper into the oven (chicken thighs breaded in cornmeal, with Moroccan spices).
Currently keeping one eye on the sky and the other on an astronomy list server. We're supposed to head down to the observatory this evening for about 10 pm, but it's starting to cloud over and it might be a no-go.

Negotiate a 1% higher raise and earmark that money for a cleaning person.

I've wanted to try Pho. Is it good?

Looked at the satellite pictures for local weather and made an executive decision to play hooky from the astronomy outing, as seeing conditions are *meh* and I don't want to drive 20 miles to look at clouds.
Tonight's schedule has been revised to include some music transcription, a few rounds of Minesweeper, and perhaps a batch of fudge.

Get it the way you want it, it's good. Takes a big squirt of Sriracha to make it really good, though. Think I'll get some tomorrow; it's been awhile.

I wouldn't go that far.

I'll take laundry, any time. Throw it in the washer, done. Throw it in the dryer, done. Fold it up or hang it up, and put it away, done. Same with the dishwasher. Vacuuming and scrubbing the floors, I will agree are tedious. But I have slaves for that- two adult sons who have to earn their keep, even if they do have jobs.
