I gonna go make a sandwich and violently rip it apart with my teeth.
Long pork sarnie?

Spent most of the afternoon in chat with various Amazon customer service agents, mainly because their system for sending transcripts of the chats to your email is broken. Not happy, but I at least got a modest concession out of it for all the hassle. Plus, there's still plenty of good football left today. Watching the Steelers / Broncos game.

Spent the earlier part of the day tinkering with various renovation things: Making sure a wall is plumb, drilling a hole for a wire, removing the last bit of old plaster and lath from high up in one corner.
Mildly curious about who's going to win the Grey Cup today, but not going to watch the game itself. Will wander over to the CBC website now and then to see who's winning. (I think it would be nice if Calgary won this year -- when I was at the astronomy conference in Calgary in June/July we were treated to a Stampede Breakfast at the stadium, down at field level. Friendly folks there.) But right now I'm going downstairs to cook up a double batch of chopped liver, with mass quantities of caramelized onions, plus crispy chicken skins and grated daikon. Just made final arrangements for my father. He didn't make his wishes known other than cremation. He hadn't scattered his wife's ashes yet, and he would never tell us what his plans were.
Whatever we decide, they'll be together in the end.
Having to deal with more lies from a theist. For some reason, theists seem to tell more lies than anyone I know.

Lying for Christ is allowed. Lying then spills into other areas as the line becomes more obscured by shuffling back and forth over it. Alternatively, lying to a dirty godless atheist is expected to yield rewards in the putative heaven...in spite of the injunction to stay completely away from that sort.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
If the bible is inerrant, then God has lied over 600 times ... monkey read, monkey do. simples.
