My sore throat is still there well over a week after I first noticed it with few, if any, signs of slowing down. If this keeps up by Monday, I'll probably have to go to the doctor.

Also, this week in the Deep Hurting Project will be Death of a Nation. The last film I included a documentary in the Project was Hilary's America, and there was so much bullshit that I needed two posts to gather all the bullshit in the film. And given that this film got even WORSE reviews than its predecessor, I fully expect more of the same.

Had a garage sale this weekend to sell most of what's left of dad's things. There's half a truckload of stuff to donate and we're holding some stuff back to fill out the next sale when we sell all the outdoor gear, of which there is a lot.

I share your skepticism. We've seen enough shit to fill two pairs of hipboots to date. If it's lipstick on a pig, our inspector will find it. I looked it over really well and unless there's shoddy work that isn't immediately evident, we'll likely own it by the 2nd of July.

It's a total renovation / remodel of a 1976 classic daylight split entry. New roof, windows, siding, flooring, paint, kitchen and bathrooms, deck, appliances, etc etc etc etc. Huge yard for in the city - quarter acre.

It's like a new house. The basement is finished and can be turned into an enormous master suite just by building a walk-in closet.

We'll find out Thursday whether it's the real deal or lipstick on a pig.
