Yup. Unless you are home all day, a Border Collie is going to tear your place apart. They are the smartest of dogs and need constant attention and challenge. If they get bored, they find ways to entertain themselves. We had two Maltese dogs, which were scamps enough when we weren't home. And dumb as a box of rocks, to boot. Sweet and lovable as all get out, though.

Thinking about making a pot of Caribbean stew chicken...Trini style's the only kind I know how to make. A patient of mine once divulged her family's recipe, so long as I brought her some back to taste and vowed to share the recipe with no one.

Ladies and their secret recipes. Lol...so dramatic.

Anyway, I need to get some bay leaves. A white onion. A garlic clove. 
And some jasmine rice.

Oh yeah...and some chicken thighs to chop up.

And hydroponic lettuce. Not for the stew though--For the salad.

When I came home from work yesterday, I found a little box that could have been just the size for a pedal. Unfortunately for me, it was just a device that uses ozone to clean his sleep apnea breathing mask. I mentioned this to Dad, and I had to remind him that we ordered the Lumpy's Tone Ship 7 Series overdrive. We asked the guy who makes them what gives, and he said that he was getting behind in his orders and that we should expect it at some point between a few days from now and mid-November (there's supposed to be a 3-4 week lead time.) And somehow, when Dad tried to forward the correspondence to me, it just wouldn't send. Apparently, something Lumpy put in his email somehow kept those emails from being sent to me. Dad has been working with computers since they used punch cards and he doesn't understand why this would happen. But at least it's on the way.

Apparently pissing people off is the way to get attention for their cause and making enemies.

Wonder if I should take something with me to break some heads if any of these cunts get in my way?

Getting ready to go out. I'm taking a deceased friend's widow to lunch today.  We usually get together at our favorite restaurant every five or six weeks and have a great time.

This strikes me as a self-defeating idea.  They're on about climate change (good-o, as far as it goes), so their plan is to tie up traffic.  So, instead of a car spewing CO on a 20 minute commute, it could be sitting still spewing CO for an hour while these waterheads block the road.
