Teaching it is. You see, in this here socialist country, teachers are usually tenured civil servants. I had to complete a pretty rough qualification period so I could enter, and now I had to reapply for a permanent position and changed schools as a result. So far I'm pretty happy with the place. I have various projects on the side so I don't lose my physics muscle...

I can remember last year, some people were worried about you and started up a thread, and so I tried to summon you myself.. I’m not sure if it failed or if it worked and just needed to take a year and a half.

I just accidentally stood up a girl for lunch.
I couldn't get through to her phone so I went home.
She said I should have texted her and she was really pissed.
She hung up on me.
Not sure if I'm supposed to chase after her now but I'm not gonna anyway.
Think I wouldn't mind a few months hibernation from this female madness.

Finally getting around to watching Jim Jarmusch's The Dead Don't Die. It doesn't seem that good, but his films tend to grow on you with repeated viewings. Except for The Limits of Control, anyway.
Edit: The ending is really making it all click for me.

Hoping my BP will return to something near normal so I can go to sleep.
Spent three hours on live chat with a company whose name is sort of like Horizon because my cell phone decided to stop making or accepting calls. Let me say that again...my phone stopped phoning. Three hours including two disconnects with live chat. All for them to blame my Fruitnamed phone and get me to call them with husband's phone which quit working for a while and then revived itself, apparently.
Fruitphone says all looks good on their end after logging into my phone. Then live chat says - hey, I just tried something - reboot your phone and try to make a call. And...whatever it was that they suddenly thought to do worked. Imagine that. I could text so I knew my phone was still connected to their network. Bastards - that's what I get for paying off my phone early.
So then an hour and a half resetting everything from my alarm to re-pairing my hearing aids with the damn thing. I suppose tomorrow I will have to re-pair it with my car.
FACK!
All I wanted to do was call my daughter who was in a car accident today...is that so much to ask?

Well, y'all seem quite normal when you're not dating me.
We patched things up a bit.
She told me how I was wrong.
I told her I'm sick of being in trouble and we may as well give it all a miss.
She back pedalled and convinced me to give her another chance, which I feel really bad about.
So I acknowledged that I mistakenly hurt her feelings.
And then the school bell rang and we had to go back to class. :-)
