Bizarrely and sadly I have some insight into escaping some aspects of being Duct Taped thanks to my mother's tendency to tape our mouths shut.  If that happens you work your tongue through your lips and wet the tape while pushing on it a little.  Eventually you can work it loose so removal doesn't rip your lips off.  You can also work your tongue down to open up a bit of an airway.

She didn't ever get to the point of binding our wrists or ankles so I am not sure what that process would be.  Amazing the things my siblings and I learned thanks to Momzilla.

My uncle is a Jackaroo (cowboy) and he would always have a rope and lasso ready.
We'd get a few steps and he'd have us down and tied by the ankles and wrists in seconds.
Then he'd tie a noose around our necks in such a way that if we struggled the noose would tighten.
I distinctly remember two of my cousins and I, left for hours and crying.
It must have been a popular thing back then because the kid across the road's dad did it too us as well.
Minus the noose and the hours of waiting to be untied.
It was quite fucked up.

Anyway, I got hit by another car today.
Red light had just turned green and as I started off this sheila slams into me.
I started to look around and she fucking slammed into me again.
Why? Fucks me! No idea.
I figured she just panicked so I pulled over and the bitch kept going.
So I drove through a carpark and out onto another street to catch up but she kept going.
I dropped her rego into the cop shop and they said she'd get an infringement notice but not too much trouble.
So they gave her my number so we could connect for insurance purposes.
She rang me in tears and I must admit I felt bad for her.
I made plenty of similar, if not worse, mistakes at her age.
Much worse, actually.

They made me take an ambulance from the cop shop to check out my whiplash.
The hospital said I had a four hr wait so I just walked up to the private doctors and got it done in minutes. (Medical certificate).
So as I was walking back to the car, which was easily 10 k's, my left side started to hurt and I was having real troubles breathing.
I don't feel quite as bad now but it still fucking hurts.

Sounds like busted ribs.  If it is, there's not much you can do other than wait it out.
