Not sure what fried pudding is either...I need to get out more I suppose...but there's a plague on right now.
A love a big breakfast with fried eggs, bacon, southern style biscuits, fried potatoes or grits...alas, to have that I would have to cook it. 
Black pudding is a blood sausage made with oatmeal and suet, among other things. White pudding is basically black pudding without the blood.

I was at my grandparents' farm when they were making blood sausage. I was in my early teens...I went upstairs and sewed the casings together for grandma. Being a part of the process insured I would never partake in the result.
