Welp, I’m at least keeping part of my weekend routine intact, since on Saturdays, I go to Superdawg, which just so happens to be the only drive-in restaurant in the state, making it probably the restaurant least likely to be affected by the pandemic. There was a small girl in the car opposite me. Dad realized that she was talking to someone else in the car next to her. He then mused that it could be an ingenious way around social distancing rules. Then she got out of the car and started touching the window... then we saw the other girl pass out a piece of chewed gum and have her put it in her mouth. Well, that seems like it defeats that purpose.

Also, Dad found, in the attic, the dog tag of a great-great-grandparent I think it was, who went to war in France during WW1 and was MIA there for a while. He kept in touch with the family that sheltered him for a few years after that. So I put them with a portrait of his:

A while ago I called a lady a cunt and I realised I probably needed a break for a while.
