I was seriously considering going back to work today, but when I talked about it with Dad, my throat started to get dry and I started coughing. I’ve been worrying about the possibility of catching it and spreading it to him (he is 65, male, and has A-positive blood, all of which which makes him a higher risk) for catching it, plus it’s kinda awkward going back to the store when nobody’s coming in anyway (and that’s what the boss is saying.) Just got the new Hank Williams boxed set I ordered for in-car listening and the library’s starting up with curbside pickup (though I picked out the DVDs I wanted to pick up as soon as It was possible for me to put a hold on items still on the shelf, I still have yet to get the confirmation email), which seemed like good omens until I started coughing.

Just finished a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle of The Queen of Hearts based on the Disney version of characters. I have taken a break for a few days from news and tried to cleanse my brain with various things on TV while assembling said puzzle. I needed a mental break and a Zen sort of activity.

If I’m barely here today, it’s only because there was an Internet outage at my home, and The only way I’m posting at the moment is because I turned my iPhone into a hotspot and that shit eats up batteries and data. It was supposed to be turned on around noon. It’s currently just a bit after 1:30 and it’s still down.
