Well, here’s something that happened sometime around early November 2012. I remember this because of this
South Park episode I was watching:
I got it in my head to start making mug brownies. I found a recipe online and used it to good results. I think it was
this one. Or maybe this. So I made it and it was good. Well, one of them was. I don’t remember which one.
Fast forward to a shade less than eight years later and I saw that Swiss Miss had white chocolate mixes. I decided I should try to make something like this. So, today, I decided to take the first recipe. First things first, I measured the white chocolate mix in one pouch (4 tbsp) and adjusted the proportions accordingly. It did not fit in a mug, so I had to put the mix in a microwaveable bowl. FWIW, I decided to cut out half the oil.
So, I put it in the microwave. After about a minute, it looked like half of it was cooking, but the other wasn’t. After another minute, it ended up erupting like this:
It ended up more like a pudding at best, well, at least the part that didn’t flow out of the bowl. It took a long time to cool down to the point where the Microwave wheel was even safe to leave the microwave. At least the parts I tasted at least tasted good, even if I do still feel burning on my tongue.
