Sushi, kettle chips, and a Twix. Looking at info related to a possible trip to Oregon in '15 for a rally race.

Letting steak marinate in some Worcestershire, seasoning salt, and a tad bit of sugar. Forgot the salt pork at the grocer, but everything ewlse is looking fine. Chickpeas, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, onions, chili powder. Will put in cumin later. Kind of eyeballing the measurements and the hack job on the onions. It's all looking OK, though. Maybe a bit tomatoey, but it seems not as bad as it initially did.

Listening to some hard bop jazz now. Would love a movie, but with the rain being severe and unpredictable, I think I'll just be a hermit again.

So, in the newly released movie The Returned, the wolfy guy from Lost Girl plays blues guitar. I'm pretty sure I would appreciate this more if I were straight.

I got to get out of the house and have a social life with some old friends I don't get to see very often.

We ate out at a pizza place and my friend took my drink, stuck the straw up his nose and accidentally snorted my Dr. Pepper. Needless to say, I did not pick up my beverage again.

Watching Jeopardy. Digesting chili, which didn't turn out too badly. I'd have used a different cut of beef, though (I used boneless top round).
