What's everyone up to right now?

Finished packing for my first vacation without the kids in a LOOOOOOOONG time. So excited!

And I’m mostly finished with packing for my first vacation since the Before Times, this time, to Door County. Hopefully, COVID will be less of an issue, although there will be no doubt a lot of people, and a lot of old fixtures will no doubt be closed.

Since it turns out that A) Space Jam: A New Legacy is going to play at the Skyway Drive-in this week (and possibly the next) and B) I haven't watched the original film in donkeys, Alison and I are currently watching the original. And, as a testament to how long it's been since I last saw it, I'm watching it on the only medium I can get it on on such short notice: my old VHS (no, I don't have HBO Max.) It's good, even accounting for the fact that every so often, there's a loud buzzing sound that may or may not be related to the audio, the video quality being about as good as you can expect from a 25-year-old VHS tape, and the fact that I'm 95% certain that, between the fact that the video is 4:3 and my screen being 16:9, I'm missing even more visual information than usual with VHS.

Also, I just found out that Alex and the Droogs make an appearance in the sequel. And, apparently, the nuns from The Devils, a film Warner otherwise seems convinced needs to burn in a fire. I fucking have to watch this.

Been sewing and watched "Field of Dreams". I'll be there in a few weeks and felt like watching the movie again.

Now I may continue sewing and find another movie.

Added a minute to each of my upper body exercises. I can do pushups for two minutes! ...alright, almost a full two minutes.

My plan was to do nothing today but then I decided it was time to groom the dogs. I was going to do the two easy ones but since Ziggy is the hot-natured one I went ahead and shaved him too. Parrots are fed so now maybe I can commence with the doing of nothing. Or I might go pin the binding on the quilt I sewed together yesterday. Indecisive I am.

Cancelled DISH service today, installed SLING with AIRTV and a new roof antenna.

Currently experiencing new technology frustration. It'll wear off in about a month.
