Finished playing with the new expansion of Eldritch Horror that I got. It was both an increase in difficulty and yet made things easier. I don't know how to explain it better than that.

Colby and I saw a crayfish on our walk this morning. That's how much it's been raining, I guess. We saw it on the driveway right near where there's a stream. It looked just like a tiny lobster you could hold in the palm of your hand. I was going to let my son sniff it but as we drew nearer, it started to turn and held its tiny pincers up threateningly. As a good father, I decided we best leave it alone and had to drag Colby away.

Carcosa knows I wouldn't hear the end of it if it clamped him.

Freezin' me nethers off in 32' F temperatures.

Still... Sun is just below the horizon from rising and it should be warming up for a cloudless sunny day.

When the weather turns cold enough that the water almost stops moving. Then you know weird unnatural times are afoot.

I feel for the Brits etc during their current summer extremes exploding into flame at balmy 30' C temperatures.

Has warmed upto a bare able 47' F. Still chilly, though.

I grew up in the midwest and have seen temps of -70F wind chill during a blizzard. That's why I don't live there any more.

Jeebus crickets! That's the sort of weather where you walk to school and back, uphill bothways.

"Us'd t' lick gravel oof road wit' tongue!" Style weather.

Been in actual snow once in my life and I am in no way at all keen to repeat the experience.

My parents live in Wales now and I can bet my Mum is basking in the 'Australian' style temperatures there.
