She was mad before the first thing.
The first time I brought Ziggy to the vet for his initial exam with our guy and vaccinations was interesting. We got home and I put him up on the couch next to me so I could pet him and comfort him. He peed on my leg, walked to the other end of the couch, turned his back on me and stuffed his nose into the corner and there he stayed till he was over his mad. He still gives us attitude now and then.

I'm facing a crisis. The fan that's set to blow on me while lying on the couch has stopped oscillating, and I'm too lazy to set up the new one or drag the fan from the bedroom. It was hell just getting me to clean off the couch after several days of using it as the deposition site for any odd thing I brought in the house.

There's a first world problem, if I've ever seen one!

Looked out at the front yard this AM and there was an area of the grass that was bent and laying flat, approximately a 6 foot circle. Thought I might be seeing things so I went out and yep, all the grass laying over in that one section.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Calculating out whether the TV stand I bought at Menard's will raise the TV up high enough to watch from my bed. It had been on the night stand, but the night stand is about 8" below the top of the mattress, so I either need a new night stand or this. This was only $20, so I figured this was better, though I'll have to put my Echo Show on something 7-8" tall so that I can see it while I'm lying down. Walmart sells mini-crates cheap. I'm sure I can find something both cheap and appropriate. I was planning to get a large display clock anyway as the time isn't always easy to read on the Echo Show.
Damn #7 buses. They're always late, but I'm used to that. And they only run every 30 minutes, which isn't ideal, but they are the main route to both my bank and the local Target, Aldi's and Cub Foods. But they've been extra bad lately. Yesterday there were two guys who had been waiting an hour for one. And one of them was drunk, and complained very loudly all the way to my destination. And on the way back, the bus was 15 minutes late. And today the bus going the other way was 15 minutes late already, so I just gave up. I need to go to the bank and the dollar store. I'm waiting on a package that should be delivered today at Midway, and I need to hit the UPS Store on the way, so if the package comes by 4:00 I should be able to do it all in one trip. If not, I'll have to put it off until tomorrow. I'm so antsy. I hate having to wait days for everything to come together.

Payroll done...it was a rough one this week. Glad to have it in the books.

The Cubs have summoned a fowl, demon wind. Ryan missed catching an easy popup because of it earlier, Sano just overran one by 10 feet, and last night a clear homer dropped onto the warning track mysteriously.
