Just finished a binge watch of Strange Ange. Weird mix of the genesis of JPL, Thelema/Aleister Crowley and WWII. A nice mix of fact and twisted.

Not exactly right now but had an interesting time earlier.  I stabbed one of my fingers with a pin while sewing and it wouldn't stop bleeding.  I went into the kitchen cabinet to get a bandage and in the process knocked a bottle of about a hundred B-Complex vitamins onto the floor which of course shattered and scattered shards of glass and vitamins all over.  I was trying to clean up while keeping the dogs away.  They weren't interested in the pills but since I was bleeding all over the floor they were interested in that.  What a damn mess.  All the pills got picked up and tossed...some with blood stains.  Pretty sure I got all the shards of glass.  What a cluster.  Some days are just like that.  smdh

Years ago, I was asleep when the globe on the bathroom light decided to let go. Wife was at work. I vacuumed "everywhere" to make sure to get the glass up. Except for under a chest. It was situated so that any glass had to ricochet off the pocket door and land under that chest, for a total travel distance of about 30 feet. My wife got some sandals out from under that chest days later, and got a glass shard in her foot.

Just pulled a spice cake out of the oven. Waiting for it to cool so I can frost it. House smells wonderful.

Can't remember the last time I baked a cake.

Years ago my mother told my father that she was bored. He came home with a Rubick's Cube...she was not amused.

My sister had surgery on her foot this morning and so is laid up a while. I suggested she bedazzle her surgical boot but she said she didn't have the supplies needed. Then I remembered the Rubick's Cube thing. Just sent her one through Amazon...she should have it in the morning.

Got to read the latest chapter of Joe vs. Elan School. It’s nice to see that, after two consecutive chapters of cliffhangers where it looks like Joe was going to be taken back to Elan (the first time, it was just the cops, and the second time, Gino just took him to see one of the only teachers there who wasn’t a total scumbag where they talked, smoked pot, and watched Holy Grail), Joe decided to have this chapter’s cliffhanger be a more mundane “I’m Pregnant.”

Also worth noting, looking on the comic’s dedicated Subreddit, I found a comment that appears to have worked out what the big reveal is going to be:

Joe is actually Gsazmyhero, the Redditor whose self-post ended up being what brought the campaign to shut down Elan to critical mass. How did they figure it out? Well, in the documentary, The Last Stop (available on Amazon Prime), at around 1:41:57, they interview gsazmyhero, and not only does his voice sound like the voice in a podcast interview Joe did, they show one of his old blogs, and what should be the background image, but this drawing Joe drew shortly after leaving Elan put in Chapter 52?
