They used Bulgarian chips.
As long as they make it right, I don’t care if they used chips with malt vinegar.

At work.
Resident: I'm going to be 93 this May.
Me: (looking at her: she looks good for her age and can still ambulate well enough on her own) Wow, you must have taken care of yourself.
R: not really, I didn't know how to. I basically led the life of a teenager, but not like the teenagers of today.
M: *chuckles*

We had about 2 inches of snow over night. Unfortunately the concrete was warm enough that it all turned to ice on the streets by morning.

Ordering $300 of parts for my file server. I was going to add 8TB to the RAID 6 array with four more WD 2TB RE4s, but WD Blue 4TB disks are on sale now for $60 each. So I ordered 5 of them to make a 12TB RAID 6 array to accompany the currently existing RAID 6 array. Hopefully, I won't run into power problems. I forget what power supply is in that machine. This was twice the cost of adding the 2TB disks, but an array of new drives is preferable to adding to the current array. And since I already bought one of the 2TB disks, I can add that to the current array as a hot spare.
(Checking the power supply, it's a 750 watt Antec, so it should be alright. Worst-case scenario, I've got a pair of WD Red Pro in that box that can be moved.)

I’m fairly sure that my computer operates on some form of electricity.

Wishing that north Texas would pick a season and stick with it. This going from 80 degrees to ice to everything in between has taken its toll on my sinuses. Nursing a sinus headache today.

Cooking maple syrup.
Day 5.
Got a second degree burn on the entire top of my right foot first toe by spilling some on my boot. The entire top is a blister.
Due to nerve damage - didn' t even feel it.
