Ordering a new CPU for the file server. The TDW on the current CPU is 62 watts, and the Athlon 64 X2 5600+ I ordered is 89 watts. I hope I don't need a new heatsink.

Order for the PS5 was canceled. Clearly, it's still difficult to get one.

Went ahead and spent $20 on a new heatsink. It's got free returns, so if I don't need it, I'll just send it back. Temperature on the 65 watt Sempron is already high with the stock cooler.

Well, shoot, I should have just stayed in bed this morning. The Athlon 64 X2 I ordered is incompatible with my motherboard. A different stepping of the 5600+ is, but not this 5600+.

ETA: Luckily the Ebay seller canceled the order. I still should have stayed in bed. There's no reason that machine needs to be faster.
ETA2: I suppose things could be worse. I ran across a deal for $10 off a $20+ Amazon order. That worked just fine for the 10"x10" baking pan I wanted for use in my air fryer. It's selling for $20.67, minus the $10 made it $11.
ETA3: Okay. Yeah. I should have stayed in bed. The baking dish is 0.4" too large for the air fryer. There must be something I can buy for $20.

Spent a good-sized portion of the afternoon building a shelf for my Blu-Ray collection. We didn't have enough for the last shelf divider, but we've still got enough to contain my entire Blu-Ray collection. For now, at least.

On an interesting note, since I decided to sort them by year of release (or at least from the averaged year of boxed sets with multiple movies), I have at least one Blu-Ray from every year in film since 1939 except for 1952, 1978 (unless you count the shorter version of Killing of a Chinese Bookie), 1982, 2021, and 2022.
