Right now, I'm trying to talk myself into doing a moderately easy programming project that will have an immediate and beneficial impact on my business. But it's a struggle-- my brain is resisting, and it's making me do almost anything BUT programming. I've cleaned my room, walked my dogs far too long, convinced myself that I'm not feeling well and that a 60-minute bubble bath is the only solution. I feel like I'm engaged in mortal combat with my own subconscious, and right now IT has the high ground.

If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Watching baseball and working on my budgeting spreadsheet. I made some big changes this month which screwed everything up, but I think I've got things ironed out now.
I think a porch thief stole a can of green beans that I ordered from Walmart. I think if a package is heavy, the odds of it being stolen are higher. A small box with a heavy can of beans may have given some thief fantasies.
Camping just outside of Zion Nat'l Park. We'll be starting the long drive home in a couple of days.
Watching Agatha Christie's "Poirot" (David Suchet version)
"When you get the message, hang up the phone" --Alan Watts on enlightenment.

Wondering when we're going to get around to castrating men who create unwanted babies.
Seems like their bodies shouldn't matter either, at least the danglers.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
