Take extra care of yourself.

Undecided
I called the dentist to see if he would prescribe me some GOOD muscle relaxers for the TMJ, but he was all, "Ooh we can't prescribe you anything stronger, what you have should help..." I'm like, "Bitch, it's not helping!" Maybe I should bite the bullet and call my crazy grandmother. I know she has some awesome drugs and she's been willing to share in the past.

Dentists are limited to what they can prescribe.

I would be careful about what you get from other people, even relatives.

If you can't get to a doctor, can you see a pharmacist?

I know what the muscle relaxers that WORK look like.

Not for a few days, unfortunately.

Still hurting from my bitten tongue from a couple days ago. Hoping it's not getting infected.

Very complicated trip to two areas in FL plus a cruise coming up very, very quickly. A bit anxious about that.

Listening to some hard bop.

I just finalized some plans to go to Florida next weekend to surprise my friend for her 30th birthday. She's having a decathlon/party, and I'm just going to show up. I'm so excited!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Aw, sorry. Sad business travel I take?

I'm relaxing and getting ready to call a friend. Had a talk earlier today with a recent ex bf who wants to be friends, now he's asking for "another chance." Another chance to be a douche? Lol I'll pass. I told him we need to part ways.

I don't need douches for friends, either.

Other than that, I'm great! Big Grin

I wish I could meet a truly nice guy. By nice, I mean honest. :/

Yep. Just spent 5 weeks in Corpus Christi. Then not quite 3 days at home before leaving today for 5 days in High Point, NC.

Spicy ramen with sriracha sauce and cola. Looking forward to the new Cosmos show and a new episode of The Mentalist. Crap. I forgot about daylight saving time.

Playing around with the visual theme of my Twitter account, which almost became very embarrassing.

Working up the energy to go home to bed after a long day walking around the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre with family and Shell, for the last day of Cruft's. It's the first day out I've had since 'that' day; I've sort of felt guilty before. Still felt weird, since the last time I went to the event Sam was in her element, going from dog to dog and sharing out cuddles (she adored dogs) but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Was due to meet up with my prospective new friend Marie the other day, but a mix-up over the dates basically saw me sitting and waiting at my oldest friends' house, where we were meant to meet, before coming home on my own. A replacement meeting is pencilled in for later today, this evening probably. This is going to sound horrible but I'm not at all sure what I'm letting myself in for. I've learned that she's looking for a full-on relationship - she knew Sam and I back in the day and knew how we were together - and right now I'm not sure I can provide that. I'm not the sort of guy who can just use someone for my own ends though. I'm sort of betwixt and between myself at the moment. I'll just have to take it as it comes and go from there.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
