Trader Joe's has apparently discontinued their excellent tomato pesto. It was about the only thing I really needed from there last night, so I was disappointed.

And my refund for my TV tuner has been issued. I was prepared to write it off if need be, but this is definitely good news.

Trying to figure out how this happened. I decided to have groceries delivered since the weather is supposed to turn to crap over the weekend. Two of the pints of ice cream I ordered came in the form of frozen meat loaf and garlic bread. Not being a fan of meatloaf anyway, I really don't want this taking up space in the freezer when there could be yummy ice cream in its place.

I ordered 1kg of carrots.

I received 1 carrot.

I did double check my order...

Reading reviews of marinara sauce. I returned two jars of marinara sauce. I never used marinara until last night when I made gnocchi alla Sorrentina. Now I need marinara sauce.

Rao's marinara is hard to beat. I'm going to try Bertolli and Whole Foods' marinara as well.

Finished the preparations for opening presents with the family on the 14th. I normally have my ILS worker help me with wrapping, but I'm temporarily without an ILS worker so I did it myself. I already had leftover candy, but I discovered another bag full of candy while wrapping today. It's just as well as there's no more room in the gift bags. Still, I managed to jam a few more pieces of candy in each bag. I guess I'll not eat the rest, like all the other candy I don't eat at this time of year.

Now that I've finished that, I'm free to do what I like the rest of the day. I need some things from Aldi and Rao's pasta sauce is on sale, so I'll grab a few jars of that.

LOL - One of the first times I placed an order to pick up I thought I had ordered a one pound bag of mixed vegies that I put in the cornbread I make for the parrots.  I got a five pound bag instead.  It all got used up but sure had to Tetris that thing into the freezer.

A couple weeks ago I ordered a few SMALL lemons for my tea and ended up with lemons the size of grapefruit.

So far there hasn't been anything to get all upset about...except maybe the missing ice cream.

I think the delivery people do that on purpose. I needed one red onion. The one delivered was the size of a canteloupe.

I know that.  I am not even mad.  Just pondering how you see an order for ice cream and then grab frozen meatloaf and garlic bread.

If my husband doesn't want it, I will see if my son and his family want it.  I know my son-in-law is not a fan of loaves of meat.  We have had that discussion.  I stopped by the store got my ice cream and picked up a couple other items.  NBD

Opening some junk I bought over the holidays. I bought a milk frother for making cafe au lait, but I don't feel like setting it up. And I bought Italian syrups and pumps for the bottles. I've never used the pumps before, so naturally in figuring it out I got vanilla syrup all over the place.
