I can yell at you if you want?

Dr. R. would probably appreciate the help.  He can't seem to get very far with me.

Careful. Little Miss Stubborn will yell right back!  Hehe
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Just got back from Quinn's yearly exam and update on shots. He was trying as hard as he could to be invisible. I would love to say that he was well-behaved but he was frozen in the hopes that no one would see him. Exam went well...the concern with the breed is heart murmurs and he still doesn't show signs of one at the age of six so that's excellent news.

I am confident that Harley is not going to be so easy to deal with on the 12th when she goes for her exam, shots, and pre-spay bloodwork.

The vet and I discussed that today.  At least for after the spay.  I know that pain control will be taken care of but trying to keep her still for a couple days to recover from surgery is either going to require drugs or a roll of duct tape....maybe both.

With Lexy it's either a dose of trazodone or the muzzle, occasionally both.

You might want to also consider time in a crate. Everybody (human and dog) hates it but it does help them heal faster.

I have a large crate so that's not a problem, except that I think she would lose her mind trying to escape.  She does not like to be still.

We took our dog to the vet for a teeth cleaning. Trazodone and a muzzle. The poor girl gets so scared.

I would never need a muzzle for Harley...that dog is almost too damn happy.

This dog must have been abused by her former owners. She gets upset over some really trivial things.
