What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
I just look around to see if they left an autopsy report. They're not good about that. Need one for estate management. Well, *I* won't need one, but you know...

Um.......... do you own a cone of shame?
That's a new one on me.  I was aware of the heart issues and also some other issues that are common in the Cav but this is one I hadn't heard of before.  I was sort of glad to find out that it's so common and typically not lethal.  Leave it to Harley to introduce a new issue.  smh

She will get a cone of shame but we do have an inflatable collar that we have used for several dogs following surgery.  I dug it out and gave it a good cleaning so it's ready.  This weekend we will get the big crate out so they can all get used to it.  None of them have seen it for a while.

Not trying to tell you what to do but prior to wearing the cone post surgery we get our dogs used to putting it on and wearing it. Get them to put their head thru by holding treats, then let them wear it untill they stop fussing.

We use the inflatables also.

Decided against the flea market. Might go to Books-a-Million sometime later today.

Until she is on the good drugs, I am not going to attempt the cone.  Let her wake up with one on.  She has a fit having a harness put on.

When I had Chopper fixed he was so drunk that he couldn't hold his head up.  He kept getting stuck on the rug or on furniture and would just stand there.  That's when we went to the inflatable collars.

Just applied the new acne medication on my face. Time to see how it compares to what I am used to for control.

Control? Only doing half your face? Now that's a man of SCIENCE!

Only six miles to the bookstore, but we had to stop at a gas station because I had to pee. You know, the coffee pee.

RE: What's everyone up to right now?
This has not been my day. They had trouble getting blood out of my right arm, so with only 5% left to go, they had to switch arms. It took about half again as long as it usually does. I get to the bus stop and the next #54 is out of service. And the #64s are running behind because of the St. Patrick's Day parade. So I get to St. Paul too late for my transfer. Another 30 minutes wasted. I get home and take the bandages off my arms and the left one just starts gushing. I'll wait a bit before making dinner so that I don't reopen it. And here I was going to get so much done today. Feh!
