Forgot to mention that the SSA sent an acknowledgement that they’ve allowed my application to go through. That said, for some reason, somehow, they decided that my disability started on March 5 this year. Also worth noting is that they don’t seem to know just what my disability was, even though I have autism and a (progressively worsening) sleep disorder.

I've started packing for the long drive north, which involves organizing and packing two large dogs with crates and various and sundry dog things, all of my dive kit, camping gear, my work setup, and personal effects.

All of this is packed Tetris-like into our compact wagon (Kia Soul) with a small roof box, such that we can access the things we need on the week long trip without unpacking the whole lot.

Should be easy, had all of that plus a cooler, two bass guitars, and a bunch of other shit last time

Except for a few things we have to pack on our way out the door, the packing is done until Friday night. I can't imagine all this stuff fitting in our carrito but it has to, it's less than we brought down with us. Feels good to get it done early.
