The first bread loaf of the Ravinia season. It’s gluten free because that was all that was available. The parts I broke off (because the dough was lumpy) tasted good.

Husband installed a new toilet in the downstairs bathroom....along with being quite old (the toilet, not the husband) it was developing leaks. So part of the day was a deep cleaning of that bathroom.
I'm impressed, I'd never tackle something like that. I detest all things plumbing.

Cleaning out the laundry room. Dust bunny would be an understatement.

Luckily he has learned that stuff along the way with work. Carpentry, mechanics, electrical, and plumbing...it's all good as long as A) It's his idea and B) He doesn't get in a hurry.
It helps if A and B are true and he's a little bit stoned....helps with patience.

That explains the vacuuming obsession.

I can’t imagine doing projects stoned. I’d probably try to install a carburetor on the bidet or something.

The job where we met was a mechanic shop where the guys worked on trucks of all kinds from diesel tractors to concrete trucks to anything else that was in a fleet. When we were really pushed to finish jobs the boss would send husband out to get stoned. Husband gets super-focused.
