Others suggest there is no seasonal variation with Covid. I think there's a lot of factors in play. If there's a seasonal component I would think it's skewed towards months where more people spend more time indoors - but I think there's a lot of variables involved. FWIW I get the shot when I have the opportunity. If I was just going to be here at the house and not out in the world around other people, I would have waited at least a month. I weighed the pros and cons and went with the shots. Not that I am not hatin' it right this moment as I feel a little feverish and both arms are sore.
going out Astronomy observing tonight. Just getting all my stuff together. Will be taking it to Chile next year to view in the Atacama desert.
A little over 24 hours since being injected with tracking devices by the government...still a bit feverish, though not as bad. Tired and upper arms hurt but not as bad as they did last night. Usually vax cause major discomfort in the muscles over my breast implants but this has not been the case this time. No real complaints but am glad it's a long weekend so I can work though whatever may still happen.
Shaved Ziggy as much as I could while we played the sit down-stand up game. The second he sees an opportunity to sit, he does. I could probably have gotten twice as much fur off him had I not spent so much time standing him back up. Then I gave him a bath. He let me know how he felt about the whole thing by drying himself on my end of the couch. smh

Ordered a cheap 4-quart stainless steel saute pan. It's more of a braiser, but it had the virtue of being cheap. I'll be able to try some things before investing in a quality pan.

Bought a book on sale at Half Price Books, and I found something strange about it:
As of right now, I’m thinking “return the book for a refund, keep the key.” For what it’s worth, this cutting rendered 215 of the book’s 446 pages unreadable, and a scan of the intact pages have revealed zero context as to what the fuck this key even is.
