At the "riot" in Portland. The local news says it's "tens of thousands" of people. Completely peaceful, lots of very angry folks, though.

Just noticed that the battery level on my new laptop plateaus at about 93%, and has since about Wednesday. And after going down to 92% to see what happens, it now plateaus at 92%. The battery icon at the edge of the screen says it’s charging, but the hover-over text says “battery level: 92%” like it’s on battery power.

Ran a bios check on the battery. It found nothing, but it seems like this was enough to fix the battery plateau.
