Finally did that visit to the bookstore that’s going into liquidation. I don’t have a photo yet, but I will give the breakdown: between the two of us, Dad and I got 18 books, each of which cost only $3. And one appears to be a first edition of a book by one of my favorite authors.

Theyre still in the car because we’re both exhausted.

Now that I’ve managed to take a picture of the haul, here it is, divided into my half:

Note: apparently, what I thought was a first edition of Nathanael West’s Day of the Locust is just a Facsimile. Regardless, it’s an absolute bargain at $3/volume.
