Working on my next NAS. I installed two fans, the motherboard, a 2.5" SSD, and booted up TrueNAS. I'm surprised that I didn't break something.

Windows scheduled an update in the middle of the day for some reason. My computer crashed midway through the update. Fortunately, it didn't hose my install.

Outside for the solar eclipse, which is only 88.1% here. I've seen three total solar eclipses in my life, partials are kinda meh.

Went to see Joe Bonamassa at Ravinia.

And, even after hearing Joe playing some great blues on some of the most collectible guitars on the planet, I found another highlight right behind me:



Of course, I’ve figured out that it’s two simple things: a Rolling Stones Crystal Head vodka bottle, and evidently this set of fairy lights (or two of them).

Naturally, the Rolling Stones vodka bottle is unobtainium, and even the regular Crystal Head bottles are of a particularly fragile type of glass that I’m not comfortable with using. So, I found a plastic skull jar of comparable size, and a different set of fairy lights.

Recovering from a 4-day, 3 night hospital stay for cellulitis (lower leg skin infection). As soon as I got home I got hit with nasty cold/flu symptoms. Seem to be on the mend from that after two days.
