What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
As it turns out the chicken was indeed defrosted, so, chicken with thyme and a few sprays of Bragg liquid aminos (similar to soy sauce), and my mee krob and peas, which had soy sauce and sri racha in it. Toast on the side, which was kind of unnecessary.

I have yet to try sriracha. I've never had a chance to try it.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Thinking about how it is funny how people look at history and say they would've been this leader or that famous philosopher but not the low-key peasent they are.

Wrapping up about 90% of the ballot questions for tomorrow. I feel pretty good. I feel somewhat educated.

Aaaaaaaand I voted. Unfortunately, I lost my notes, so it was more difficult than I had hoped. If it's not one thing, it's another.

Then, I went to Subway for a veggie patty sub on jalapeno/cheese bread, with bacon. Sun Chips and a raspberry cookie.

Now, I'm digesting an article explaining some of the rules agreed on for the 35th America's Cup, in 2017.

My friend died this morning after a several-years-long battle with leukemia. She was a strong-minded and independent woman who volunteered an inordinate amount of her time to volunteering with Engineers without Borders and helping the communities in Haiti build and maintain water purifying systems.

While I am glad she is no longer suffering due to her illness, I am very sad that we will no longer be able to go out to dinner and visit; she was good company, good conversation, and a good person.

I'll miss you Carolyn. You were a gem.
