Trying to watch 2 NWSL matches withhuge playoff implications at once (one on TV, one on web), waiting for a U.S. Open Cup match (similar to FA Cup), and waiting for So You Think You Can Dance (go Valerie!), :o. Gimme some ritalin.

Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
I've decided that I'm going to take the plunge and get chartered in accountancy (probably CIMA as I'm not interested in financial accounts). 3 years or so with exemptions from my degree and I'll be fully chartered and qualified.
The hard work beings next month! Studying for a PhD and an accountancy qualification at the same time will probably be quite difficult, though. Not sure I'll be able to hack both of them. 
Fidel that sounds like a lot on one's plate! (especially as I assume your commute from the South Atlantic is pretty serious...

TBH I've been considering dropping the PhD. I've been on a leave of absence for nearly a year and have lost all interest in it. Also, it doesn't earn me any money and I've got a mortgage to pay. I find accounting relatively interesting and also appear to be ok at it, and the CIMA course isn't too intensive. I'm going to juggle the two until January and see how I feel. I can always submit early and get an MPhil instead of a PhD and I'd be happy with that. 'Draft party'? Sounds like it could be messy! 
Drinking coffee and rethinking this whole getting up in the morning thing.
