The connection was discovered, and when a staff member confronted him on the sock account, he denied it and offered an explanation that was in contradiction to the facts that we already knew. It was very clear that the same individual created both accounts, despite his denials.

Had he chosen to own up to it at that time, he likely would have only received a warning or a temporary suspension.
