That's never been me. :/
Hell one time I up and decided to join the military. Went and signed up, called work and told them I quit, called my parents and said, "I just signed up for six years. I'm leaving in 12 days."
They gave me the option of waiting 3 months. I figured, hell, if I was doing it, let's do it now.
That's pretty amazing, you know. Not only that you joined the military but, more importantly the swiftness of your decision making skillz.
Do you ever second guess your decisions?

Yeah. For the next six years.
haha. No, not usually. Life is short. Joining the military was one of the best decisions I ever made.
I flew to the UK to spend Y2K New Years in London with only a 1 hour notice before the plane departed. I just said, fuck it. It was pretty cool.
I honestly had no idea I'd be flying across the Atlantic that night earlier in the day.
I haven't talked to the girl I did that with in over a decade. But she's never going to forget me.

That is cool. Lol I wonder if you're just born with it or? I grew up in a household where I was coddled and others made all my decisions. This was a long time ago, but I've always second guessed myself since childhood. It would be cool to have a fuck it attitude. If I make a bad decision, so what ...at least I made one.
I'm glad your decision was a very positive one!
Okay, I'm not going out tonight. I made a decision, ok.
That was pretty easy. Now to pass the word to my friends and not allow them to change my mind.
Baby steps lol

Well, for me, I grew up in a tiny country town. It felt like the entire world was cut off from me growing up. So when I had the chance I decided to make my life as interesting as I could.
Jumped out of planes? Yeah, I did that. Went scuba diving? Yeah, did that. See a bull fight in Spain? Yeah, did that. Ride through the canals of Venice? Did that. Been to a brothel? Checked that out. (chicks were not that cute. The entire situation creeped me out. Did not partake. Just weirded me out too bad.) Snorkel through the Virgin Islands? Did that. Just any random experience I could try.
Then I got older and got bored with it. But I still do it when I have the chance. Being married with kids though, the chances are limited. Well...chances are different. I've morphed it into making myself into a cool dad for my girls.

What the? You should feel lucky to be telling the tale from the looks of that thing!

That's never been me. And this isn't a hard decision. You should see when I need to decide what salad dressing to get at a restaurant. :/
Well this actually happened yesterday and it was awful for me. Had to go pick up my sister from middle school and the wind literally destroyed my umbrella which left us with nothing to protect ourselves from the rain. The rain blew at our faces with strong wind and the puddles were huge so it was impossible to avoid them without having your feet completely wet. When I got home I was filthy wet from the rain so I had to prepare myself a hot shower again but I guess it's alright since I stayed in the whole time plus I ordered pizza for delivery. It's still raining today though.

Rahul, I think if you can pass those strengths to your kids -- that'd be great too.
Appreciate you sharing that story. :-)
So, the movie "The Wrestler." Just clicked on it. Mickey Rourke looks like a totally different person.
?? I remember hearing about this movie but never saw it.

Watching my Pens play at Soldier Field in the snow. I love hockey in the snow.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Watching a completely insane amount of rain ensue. I've been outside the house once in three days. Getting depressed!

Not me. That's my wife's job. She is better at it than me anyway and she really has the stamina to make sure those decisions get good and second guessed.
Boy, Rahul, I don't know how you did it. When I was 19 I considered jumping the Canadian border if my draft number had been smaller. I don't know how I would do in the military. I think I'd crack and frack the drill sargent before I ever finished basic training. Or maybe they don't let the recruits hand real weapons for that reason.

Nothing takes away from this feeling incomplete inside. And not knowing how to fill it. I am ready to give up. I can't function like this.
Drinking a grapefruit sparkling alcoholic beverage from Tokyo. It's okay. Maybe I should just drink until I can't drink anymore.
Thinking of you dearie pie. Hoping for a change of mood for you. Do you think you suffer at all for lack of sunlight through the winter? Too bad it is so fricking cold there.
