Watching The Weather Channel, which says "Rain, rain, rain", but looking outside to see that the rain has stopped. Wondering how long this will last, because I do want to go out and see Tim's Vermeer.

I want a snack. Ate some pasta for tea at 7pm...
Hungry now and actually fancy a blue steak sandwich... (March 1, 2014 at 5:17 pm)Mr. Moncrieff Wrote:(March 1, 2014 at 5:08 pm)Cthulhu Dreaming Wrote: Nice - what sort of system / process do you use? I've got Blichmann rig set up for 10 gallon batches. Beats brewing on the kitchen stove, doesn't it? Do you use extract or mash yourself? Any favorite styles? Just picked up two 1/6 bbls for the kegerator - an imperial stout and a wee heavy - out of California and Colorado. Who says American beer sucks?
I got beer!

Feeling a little better after an ambien nap. Unfortunately I only have one tab left. My days are all splayed out and weird with no regular pattern. I wake up breathing heavily and feeling out of sorts, and that lasts until evening, when things calm a bit. I can't get into any routine in this, and my difficulty following conversations on the forum means I don't have that to distract me. Nothing satisfies. Nothing takes away from this feeling incomplete inside. And not knowing how to fill it. I am ready to give up. I can't function like this.
Drinking a grapefruit sparkling alcoholic beverage from Tokyo. It's okay. Maybe I should just drink until I can't drink anymore. Have to use extract as simply don't have the time, but I'd love to mash next time I get a few days off. I've been tempted to try multi rest mashes, but single infusion is likely all I'd get time for. I'll certainly have a lot of time in about a week! I've got to work a fortnight notice out, but then I'll have my youngest with me and brewing isn't easy with a 3 year old around... Besides, I've applied for jobs this week and git interviews with 2 schools in a week or so. |
