RE: Would this be decent evidence for reincarnation?

The idea of reincarnation in the philosophical sense implies some sort of spiritual aspect to humanity. With that said evidence is pretty clear as it stands that it might not be real. However, the mind capabilities are just being explored and how our brain interacts with the environment is being discovered. I think it is too hasty to rule out anything considering our intelligence is rather infant compared to the potential we might have. While my personal beliefs remain skeptical, I do not state it is impossible in the future do "meta-natural" things. There is skeptics who question in a healthy manner then there are skeptics who are just skeptical because they are following an ideology that requires at times cognitive dissonance to maintain. I feel most super natural claims are explained through science and again my personal opinion is right now it is not possible.

I can agree 100% charlatans should be caught and justice be brought to bear. I merely get annoyed at skepticism for the sake of being a skeptic rather than finding the truth. Which in my opinion is not true skeptcism. Being in the church for a while we can use more skeptics to catch these crooks as I know a few of them myself. But alas money makes you powerful, even worse money plus a powerful ideology backed by people even worse.

I think the distinction needs to be made between skepticism and cynicism.

That's what I said. Notice how much longer it takes him to move the tinfoil with the bowl over it? Obviously he's not moving as much air around it, but he is moving air underneath the bowl. Like I said, I'd like to see him replicate the experiment using a rubber seal underneath the bowl. I'm betting he'd be sitting there for a very long time trying to move the foil. At any rate, it's not evidence of telekinesis because you can't rule out air currents under the bowl which doesn't make an airtight seal. It's just magic tricks being pawned off as woo.
