iOS7 Waterproof (Fake Advert)

RE: iOS7 Waterproof (Fake Advert)
I just told my boy, as he updated to 7 over the weekend. He apparently isn't as dumb as his genetics would indicate. No dice with him, but he's going to spread the rumor around at his school and see who falls for it.

Thanks, Tiberius! Smile

This gonna be how it is, mate? Bunch of one-word/one-line content-absent posts and zero personality? Because I'm about one lacking statement away from not giving you as much respect as to even laugh at you... I'd get more of a response out of a brick wall Sleepy

Well, i have the trend to search "Something Awful" on Google.

The Sony Xperia Z and Z1 are both waterproof to a depth of 1.5 metres for around 30 minutes.

Now that was a software upgrade!

Apparently the new version of Android (KitKat) is radiation proof so that they can sell it in Japan.

Surely you know a false dichotomy when you see one.

Inexperience may well lead to damaging one's brain. To avoid further damage caused by those more experienced than you, I would recommend you press your alt and f4 key in tandem.

I'd also avoid future sexual enterprises. It's enough that you hurt yourself with your ineptitude... but it would be a damn shame if harm came to another through your sheer stupidity. Sleepy

I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone actually tried this. This goes nicely with the recent "Coping With Disillusionment" thread.

You could probably convince some people that putting your head into an oven is a great way to dry hair. Someone I work with was convinced that he had to rotate our stock of garbage bags. To his credit though, he wasn't all with it that week Tongue

(OP)That is pretty funny. I can replace screens and digitizers for 3gs-4S, and after getting my 5, I wanted to find a tutorial on how to replace the screens on them as well. Instead, I stumbled across this numb-nuts, and was curious as to WTF he was trying to accomplish. I still don't know.

Tib, you've stumbled on the major reason why most people are theists! Tongue

Now, honestly, my extremely old Siemens M35 was waterproof, or, at least, water resistant, and crash resistant... worked pretty well until the battery died.... so it's not exactly a new technology... although... it's not something you get through software... DUH!

WTF? Why? Does he state on his YouTube page his reasons? Or is he just looking for attention.

"OMG! Did you see that guy who boiled his iphone! What an awesome dude!"
