Unforgivable Sin - Poll
#11
RE: Unforgivable Sin - Poll
Quote:28 Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”

Mark 3

Really, Drippy....haven't you figured out by now that we know this fucking horseshit better than you do?

I am a former Christian that still gets scared about this one sin. Of all the other religons I dont care or know about I'm not worried. But since Christianity is in the culture I am in (Western) obviously I will add more weight to it.

Anyway. For other de-converts and people searching for answers.

Can you answer:

Have you ever committed the Unforgivable Sin? Are you worried about eternal damnation? If you think you have what is it you said!

Cheers,

Show me book chapter and verse that says 'speaking against the holy Spirit' is the unforgivable sin.

I encourage small children to blaspheme...because it's funny.

I get booted from Sunday School gigs all the time.

Now show me minnie in Mark 3 where the pharisees in the parable took the name of the Holy Spirit and used it in anyway. Show me something that even shows they knew what the Holy Spirit was before this point.

If they did not know who the Holy Spirit or even uttered the term Holy Spirit, how could they be guilt of your understanding of the word?

WTF does it matter if they knew what it was or not? It's your holy book. You figure it out.

BTW Fuck the holy spirit with a rusty cactus.

I'm going to hell anyway, even according to my ex-religion Catholicism. Because, according to their doctrine, getting a vasectomy is a mortal sin (unless you try to have it reversed, and like hell I will), and if you have a mortal sin on your soul without going to confession before you die, you go straight to hell. And like hell I'll ever find myself in a confessional booth again.

Just another ghost story. There is no holy spirit. End of the matter.

Please define "the Unforgivable Sin". Thinking

In fact, please define "sin".
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.
