And yes it is better to be ignorant of a answer and aware that you do not know, then to be convinced of a answer that is wrong.

To play devil's advocate for a minute, this was a kind of unfortunate thread split, and Swordy was replying to a post long lost to the mists of time, rather than just stirring shit. I read a good bit of Sword's replies and frankly it boils down to the classics of theist arguments. God is in the background working his will and can't be proven/dis-proven through science, the big bang and evolution are bullshit because it's "unlikely" therefore it was intelligent design. etc.
All a bunch of faith based, reality rejecting bull with a slew of straw men as his backup.
