Great Poetry
#51
RE: Great Poetry
Sonorous Bluster, By Brian37 (AKA Brian James Rational Poet on FB and @brianrrs37 on twitter), Inspired by Vulcanlogician posting the Whitman poem.

Meaningless magniloquent
Boisterous cacophony
The Oval Office
In hate filled chaos

5 years of
Birther garbage
Down an escalator
Lowest denominator

Vilify and scapegoat
Sell that of hate
Not that of
Hope

I write this on
A holiday
About a man
Who uplifted everyone

On the steps
Of the Lincoln Memorial
He wanted us all
To be together

But decades later
In our top office
Is a boisterous, dangerous
Selfish narcissist

We cannot aford
Nor normalize
Such vile politics
Least America die

Hope is what
Is uplifting
That of King, JFK
Obama's way

Instead a billow
Fiery forked tongue
The orange snake
Of which we shouldn't condone.
(END)

RE: Great Poetry
Rainbow (inspired by Rod Jane and Freddy)

Up above the streets
and houses
rainbow climbing high
everyone can see it smiling
over the sky
paint the whole world
with a rainbow

Deficiency of limericks here. (sigh)
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

The once was an orange man
Who talked about his tiny hands
Bodacious braggart
Shows he can't handle it
Mueller will take down the madman.

(I wrote this about one of the hottest professors EVER)

The Philosopher Queen

She's sexy, she's smart, and good-looking
She's all a philosopher should be
Her name is Shoshana
And I really wanna
Stick my tongue in her pussy
