What's up with the dead pig? Are animals now getting it?

And I totally should have see a contagion coming. What's the disease, and how are they going to deal with this? The buddy system? Quarantine?

My best guess is that the writers finally keyed in onto what I've been thinking from season one, which is:
With all the blood that splatters all over the characters every time they kill, someone would HAVE to get some blood in the mouth. I mean these guys have literally had their faces soaked in blood.

Just a theory of course.

Great start into the season. Especialy the part with the crazy Irish woman (if that was an Irish accent).

Cant wait to see the massacre/feast that will obviously happen during the next episode and if we will see the governor turn up before the season break.

This is also the first series with Larry Gilliard Jr I have seen since "The Wire". And since he did a great performance there I am expecting to see some great acting from him here.

Very interesting turn of events. I didn't see the contagion aspect coming. I'm excited to see how that goes. When the episode first started I thought it was kind of lame but it got really good in the second half.
