The Walking Dead Season 4

I watched it half asleep. Did anything else die from a contagion? And that crazy woman, was she feeding her zombie husband?

Yo dawg, I would so bang Michonne. She is the hawtness.
EDIT: And yes, she was feeding her zombie husband. Not very well. She said she couldn't find anything alive. (October 14, 2013 at 4:29 pm)futilethewinds Wrote: Yo dawg, I would so bang Michonne. She is the hawtness. Actually, it was just her husband's head - as confirmed on the Talking Dead following the premier. The bag he was in was way to small to be a full body. I'm not sure what the purpose of that story was but it was fun. I hope we get to see her turn up as a zombie just for fun. As for Michonne being hot. Yeah, she's alright but Maggie (Lauren Cohan) is WAAYY hotter. I mean good god, she could make even Drich cheat on his wife.
Season 4 seems to be off to a good start. A little more physical special effects than last season, so that helps.
Cunt
I found it dull and boring. Bah. (sorry fans). Its a soap opera with zombies, fuck that.
This show is absolutely fantastic. It was the first series that I committed to since Heroes went off air. I loved that show... I'm a nerd

It's the number one rated show on cable here in the states and it's been nominated for 56 different awards including Emmys and Golden Globe. As for action and special effects: True, the first half of season 2 was a little slower, but other than that the show has been chocked full of mayhem and carnage. I don't know of any other show that can compete with the amazing effects they do on the Walking Dead. Even the actors have said they occasionally get nauseous because the effects are so lifelike and full of gore. All that being said, TV shows, like music and art, are totally subjective and if you don't care for the show thats completely fine, but there's no way that the show sucks. (besides we all know theres nothing that sucks so much as British television ... It's like they're in the stone age when it comes to realistic special effects and exciting action sequences)
I watch it, but can't really rave about it. Seems to me that a zombie apocalypse makes for a better movie than TV series. Problem is that zombies are dumb and predictable (and in this story slow), so once the survivors learn to deal with them, they're not much of a factor. The show has become one group of people v. another group of people, with the occasional zombie attack. Last season the most ridiculous one was Andrea in the woods. It's watchable, but I wouldn't put it in the top tier.

Which is why we prefer the American series and probably see them as being more awsome than most Americans (who are use to them) see them. Other than in the UK, where TV is suposedly not as dull and boring as here or in France or elsewhere. Polands most popular TV show is a soap opera about a catholic priest and his "adventures" in his rural polish comunity. That should give you an impression about how dull watching TV here can be. |
