RE: TheoreticalBullshit is back on YouTube
Oh, btw MFM, the theist he deconverted went by the name of Veritas. TB has a collab video of him and Veritas after he deconverted. Really interesting stuff.

Oh yeah, I remember Veritas.

TBS actually got into an exchange with William Lane Craig over Kalam a little over a year ago because TBS ran a "Kalam Cosmological Argument Against the Existence of God", which one of Craig's theist minions submitted to Craig's website. Here was one of TBS' good response videos to Craig's response of his original video:

On Causation and the Discourse of Ethics

I'm going to subscribe to this guy.

I think I've got a bit of a man-crush...

I'm surprised that so many are unfamiliar with TBS.

His vids where he shreds Matt Slick's TAG argument are a thing of beauty.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

I actually don't watch any stuff like this on youtube, so if anyone has any other suggestions, it would be appreciated. I'm particularly looking for videos on philosophy.

The best YouTube Atheists I'm aware of are the following (some perhaps even better than TBS); long list with example videos ahoy!:

-KnownNoMore: Might be the best YouTube atheist I've seen in terms of content, refutations of all kinds of religious apologetics and defense of atheism and metaphysical naturalism.

Example video: Presuppositional Apologetics Refuted part 1

-CheekyVimto08: A philosophy student in the UK. Does great videos on the problems religious philosophy and the methods used by religious apologists.

Example videos: 1) Philosophical Creationism II: The Manifest Image
2) Theistic Argument Against Apologetics

-SisyphusRedeemed: A philosophy professor; all his work is good. 'Nuff said. Smile

-SuicideForCelluloid: A guy with a education in - I think - continental philosophy. I think he's great if you want to get into deeper philosophical issues such as theories of truth and such, in addition to issues with religious apologetics.

Example video: Argument from Absolutes (logic)

-Ander Smith: Does good videos on philosophy and science, including this great video on YouTube theists' attempts at running scientific arguments for libertarian free-will.

Example video: Refuting "Scientific" Arguments for Free Will

-CounterApologist: An engineer, who does systematic takedowns of religious arguments, like the Kalam and Ontological arguments.

Example video: Countering the Modal Ontological Argument

-Martymer 81: A physics professor, who tackles religious apologists from sciencific and philosophical perspectives.

Example video: William Lane Craig is Wrong about Relativity

-Gary Edwards: A guy in the UK with an education in the philosophy of science and analytic philosophy, complimented by a terrifically intelligent-sounding accent. Has done great takedowns of religious apologetics in general and the popular YouTube theist 'InspiringPhilosophy' (IP), who makes it a point to be a philosophical n00b while pretending otherwise. He also defends metaphysical naturalism, pounds substance dualism into the ground.

Example video: Why Metaphysical Naturalism is Viable

-QualiaSoup: Does a good job on presenting issues with various theistic positions, among other things. Good animation and presentation as well.

-Wittgensteinism: A philosophy student (I think) who does great, detailed critiques of theist arguments and methods, as well as laughing at William Lane Craig. He also uploads videos (as you probably guessed) about the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, as well as videos about solipsism.

Example video: The Kalam Refuted (Yet Again)

Does this count as a service to the forum at large? I did you guys a great favor by giving you awareness of some great YouTube atheists with example videos. Tongue
