Oppression/Discrimination is an innate human instinct. You could falsify science...pervert it...and then claim it fits your reasoning. Same with religious documents.

Racial Scientists. You should blame science because it gave the framework to justify racism.

Is it innate? Or does it depend on the world-view you hold or the ideas and beliefs you've grown accustomed to? If you grow up believing that no one is automatically inferior because of their race you wouldn't have the desire to discriminate against them. If it was innate that this belief wouldn't have mattered.

Are are you suggesting that everyone does have the desire to discriminate on racial basis but they overcome this desire based on their belief system?

I just think it's pointless to keep being nice about peoples 'beliefs' unless we start passing children in school who 'believe' in the wrong answers. 2+2 and all that. It's the exact same principle. Science proves itself. Science is the evidence. When you accept that, you realize that there is no 'good and evil' and that it's time we started accepting a different point of view. Be respectful, decent, kind, polite and yadda yadda because otherwise you just may get your ass kicked here and now, not suffering for an eternity later. I hate religion. I'll grant you a point if you can demonstrate one religion that is 'undefiled before God'.

There is no God; therefore I am atheist. Assholes in charge of organizations pretending to know the mind of God (religions) create rules making it a crime to have certain thoughts; therefore, I will happily answer to 'antitheist'. Keep in mind that the fuckers that will tell you what you can and cannot think have convenient excuses when challenged for the address and phone number of the deity (usually the A/S/K bullshit).

Here's the deal. If I created the universe and had the attributes typically ascribed to the Christian God....there is no fucking way I would allow the likes of Drippy, GC, Catfish, John V, Lion IRC, Waldork and Scepter of Fuck speak for me. If the likes of you are God's emissaries, then God needs a serious lesson regarding delegation.

Note: I intentionally didn't include Wooters and Aractus for obvious reasons despite differences in opinion.

I'm curious why theists are on an atheist forum. Trying to convert or maybe trying to find reason not to believe? I see no point in going on religious type forums because.... well for one it would really piss me off to see all the nonsense the people are typing. And y'know, gotta keep that blood pressure under control.
